Triple Twist is a Thoroughbred stallion who is line bred to Bonne Nuit and who is a source of amazing jumping ability.
Triple Twist is a 1997, 15.3 hand bay thoroughbred stallion with some of the best jumping bloodlines available in any Jockey Club thoroughbred
alive today. Not only is he the only known JC thoroughbred sire with the Bonne Nuit/Good Twist bloodlines in North America, he is linebred to those
bloodlines, and therefore is the best source of Bonne Nuit blood available anywhere. These are the same bloodlines of the incomparable Gem Twist, and his
sire, Good Twist.
A partnership has been set up between Melissa Jefferson, who has owned Triple Twist (“Trey”, to his friends) since 2003, and Lisa Dunckley.
It is extremely important to both members of this partnership that Trey be positioned to both perform in eventing and jumping to the best of his ability,
AND to be able to stand as a stallion at a facility that is set up for breeding. As a result, he will be moving to California to stand at Airdance Farm
in Livermore, and will compete on the West Coast.
The plan is to prepare him to be presented to the Oldenburg/ISR in 2010 and for him to attend the 10 Day Stallion Test if he is provisionally licensed.
He will also continue showing in eventing with the goal of meeting the performance requirement for approval with the American Trakehner Association.
