Armani was licensed for Oldenburg/ISR in August of 2008 at Starr Vaughn Equestrian Center. At three, he was the youngest of all the stallions
who were licensed. Armani is a 2005 Dutch registered stallion, by the illustrious Magic Ronaldo. Ronaldo, as he's also known, is most famous for being
awarded Champion of the 1997 Oldenburg Stallion Show. At his performance test he scored 10s on Canter and Character, and 9s on Walk, Trot, and
Jumping Under Saddle. His offspring all have his big, expressive, light movement, and his wonderful easygoing temperament.
Armani is out of the State's Premium Hanoverian mare Hoheit, who is by the esteemed Trakehner stallion Hohenstein. Hohenstein, like his sire Caprimond,
is known for improving type, movement, and again for a wonderful temperament. This combination of bloodlines in Armani has resulted in a young stallion
who is incredibly kind, well mannered, easy to work with, and frankly, a joy to be around. He was very easy to start--and calmly went over
a small course of jumps at 10 days under saddle! He should pass this on, and sire offspring with the temperaments for amateurs and the performance
abilities for professionals.

Armani's movement is stunning. When he goes into his big, lofty, trot--you'd swear his front feet never touch the ground. He can so
easily sit and move underneath himself that the highest levels of dressage will be easy for him. His "career plan" includes eventing
to prove how well rounded he is, but even though he was easily free-jumping 4 feet at the age of three, we feel his destiny lies in dressage. He recently
attended a dressage clinic with "I" judge Jane Weatherwax, who judged the 2007 Pan Am games in Brazil. She described Armani's movement and temperament
as INTERNATIONAL in quality!
In 2009, at 4 years of age, Armani was schooled cross country by a 13 year old. You don't often see a stallion with this combination of brilliance
in gaits and sweetness in temperament.
Armani is so well put together that you don't realize how tall he is until you stand next to him. He is leggy, and has a compact build.
His body is well muscled and he has an especially strong loin. We would expect him to add height as well as bone, and to improve the back and loin
connection, but not necessarily to add refinement.

Towards the end of 2009, Armani suffered a neck injury which caused an acute neurologic stage. This necessitated canceling his planned attendance
at the 2009 70 Day Test. The injury was so bad initially that it was questionable whether he could be saved. It is a true testament to his unbelievably
kind nature, good mind, and tolerant attitude that this young stallion endured his stall rest and surgical procedures. It took most of 2010 to rehab him,
which meant he could not attend the 2010 70 Day Test either. He is currently scheduled to attend the 2011 70 Day Test and is back in dressage work.
Armani has the most amateur-friendly mind imaginable, and absolutely fabulous gaits. He was test bred to a mare in August 2010 and has a foal
due July 2011. Don't pass up the opportunity to have a "Man-ster" of your own!
